Hi everyone,
I’m Eric, the person who brought this website to life! 😁 I am a simulation learning consultant at a hospital-based simulation center, with a background as a paramedic.The idea for this community was sparked by the vibrant tech spaces I discovered while attempting to transition from healthcare to software development. Although I’m not officially a software developer, I’ve picked up some valuable skills 😉 so, mission accomplished!
I also noticed a lack of open source software projects in healthcare simulations compared to the tech world. My vision is to create a hub for open source and free resources for simulationists and healthcare educators everywhere. Additionally, I want this to be a place where we can network, share our knowledge, and collaborate on innovative projects.
This field tends to attract people from all walks of life, so I’m interested in your story—how did you get here?
